Position Overview
J.H. Hassinger Construction Services is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage all on-site construction activities. The Superintendent is responsible for daily field operations, site safety, scheduling, quality control, and coordination of subcontractors and trades to ensure successful project execution from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site construction operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Review and interpret construction documents, including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil drawings.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, materials, and subcontractor requirements.
• Manage job site logistics, including site setup, material staging, access, signage, and temporary utilities.
• Maintain organized site documentation, plans, communications, and reports.
• Enforce company safety programs and OSHA standards to maintain a safe work environment.
• Monitor labor productivity and job progress, identifying and addressing issues that impact schedule or cost.
• Implement and oversee quality control measures throughout construction.
• Coordinate inspections, punch list activities, and closeout tasks leading to certificate of occupancy.
• Maintain positive working relationships with clients, inspectors, and project team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional construction-related education or certifications preferred.
• 10 years of construction experience, with a minimum of 5 years as a Superintendent or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
