Job Title: Superintendent

Job Description

As a Superintendent, you will be the driving force behind field operations, ensuring every detail of the construction process is executed with precision and excellence. You will manage and oversee all on-site construction activities, develop and enforce project schedules, maintain communication with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities in alignment with project documents, ensuring high-quality standards and timely delivery.
• Develop and enforce both short- and long-term project schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractor labor, site logistics, and material deliveries to maintain a clear and efficient workflow.
• Maintain seamless communication with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes, and lead regular project meetings.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance.
• Drive the successful completion of punch lists and quality control processes.
• Enforce zero-tolerance safety standards, creating a secure and compliant job site environment.
• Anticipate and identify potential issues and provide solutions.
• Work closely with multiple departments, demonstrating resourcefulness and a team-first mindset.

• Ability to guide, direct, and coordinate the work of multiple activities at the same time.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to plan projects and jobs, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
• Dynamic and client-oriented, while keeping the company’s interests in mind.
• Excellent knowledge of construction means and methods with the ability to envision the finished product at inception.
• Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in English to interact with owners, subcontractors, and fellow employees, write and read reports, and make presentations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with journeyman level trade experience, or a technical certificate or engineering degree from an accredited college.
• 5 years managing large-scale construction projects as a site superintendent.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Deep knowledge of construction methods and the ability to visualize the end product from the start.
• Client-focused, solution-oriented, and committed to excellence.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $57.00/hr.
