J.D. Eicher Builder is seeking a dependable and hard-working Construction Laborer to join our Field Operations team. Whether you're skilled or just getting started in construction, this full-time role offers hands-on experience working alongside seasoned professionals on high-end residential projects. You'll be performing a variety of physical tasks on job sites across Fauquier, Loudoun, Culpeper, and Rappahannock counties. Reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled tradespeople with residential construction tasks.
- Load and unload building materials and tools.
- Perform site clean-up and preparation for framing, trim, and finish work.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and responsibly.
- Follow directions from crew leads and supervisors while maintaining a productive work pace.
- Support the setup and teardown of job sites.
- Safely assist with demolition, concrete, framing, or other trade-specific tasks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work environments.
- Travel to various job sites within the service region as required.
- Drive company trucks as needed to pick up and deliver materials.
- Operate heavy equipment such as a skid loader, mini excavator, and telescopic material handler.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in construction or related physical labor preferred, but not required.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand, kneel, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Dependable and punctual with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work well in a team environment.
- Basic familiarity with construction tools and materials is a plus.
