Construction Laborer

Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in supporting various construction projects by performing essential tasks that contribute to the overall success of the job site. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation and clean-up of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and foremen to complete tasks effectively.
• Perform basic construction tasks such as digging, mixing concrete, and carrying materials.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on the job site.

Skills

• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 80 pounds).
• Basic knowledge of construction methods and practices is preferred
• Ability to work well in a team environment while following directions from supervisors.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed.
• Operating of mini excavator, skid loader, track loader, rollers, jumping jack, concrete saws, chain saws, jack hammers, are preferred.
• CDL preferred but not required
• Driver License REQUIRED
• Means of transportation to the yard REQUIRED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
