Commercial Property Manager for Retail Shopping Center Portfolio

J.C. BAR Properties, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Commercial Property Manager. J.C.BAR Properties, Inc. is an innovative commercial real estate development and property management company in the Mid-Atlantic Region, Maryland and West Virginia, Ohio boasting a management portfolio of nearly 30 retail/office centers, totaling over 8 million square feet of prime retail properties and more than $2 Billion in development experience. This full-time position is responsible for assisting the Senior Vice President of Property Management. Initially, the Commercial Property Manager will work closely with the SVP of Property Management to learn the infrastructure and tenants. The Commercial Property Manager will also work behind the scenes to prepare and update lease files, rent rolls and other administrative duties, including working with the Brokerage and Leasing Department.
Concurrently, the Commercial Property Manager will be tutored by the SVP of Property Management to learn the accounts receivable and account payable function as a backup for accounts receivable and other administrative duties during the busier times of the Accounting Department. We are looking for someone who is an independent, self-starter that is ambitious as this position is intended for growth. We are looking for someone who is dependable and adaptable. This position requires the staff member to be able to flexible with hours during the week and if required after hours and weekends. This position requires some travel and you must be willing to travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic areas as outlined above. Knowledge in Yardi and Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel,) are a must.
Commercial Property Management with retail shopping center experience is a PLUS.
