POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide high-quality pediatric services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. This role is ideal for a COTA who enjoys early intervention, working closely with families, and being part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct OT treatment under OT supervision
- Implement treatment plans aligned with IFSP/plan of care
- Deliver play-based, developmentally appropriate interventions
- Support sensory-motor development, play, and self-help skills
- Provide parent coaching and education
- Document sessions accurately and on time in EMR
- Collaborate with supervising OT and interdisciplinary team
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Active California COTA license (in good standing)
- Pediatric or early intervention experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and organized
Preferred
- Experience in home-based EI
- Comfort working with infants and toddlers
- Bilingual (Spanish a plus, not required)
