Position Summary
ITR America is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, this role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, supporting parts sales, and driving growth within our wholesale dealer network.
The ideal candidate is personable, results-driven, and solutions-oriented, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal Teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Key person would have prior experience selling construction earth moving equipment or auto parts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to quotes, orders, product information, inventory, and applications via phone, email, and other channels
- Accurately enter, update, and manage customer orders within internal systems
- Build strong customer relationships that promote trust, satisfaction, and long-term loyalty
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to grow customer accounts
- Proactively follow up on quotes, pending orders, and web inquiries to close sales
- Reach out to existing and prospective customers to generate new business opportunities
- Track and monitor order status and shipments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate closely with outside sales representatives to support account growth and customer engagement
- Resolve customer issues, including order discrepancies and warranty inquiries, by investigating, documenting, and coordinating solutions
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of products, market trends, and customer applications
- Share customer insights, including feedback, pricing trends, and competitor activity, with internal Teams
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in parts sales or a related industry
- Equipment and parts knowledge preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build relationships and deliver excellent customer service
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
