We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven Vice President of Sales to lead global revenue growth for a well-established aerospace MRO organization headquartered in the United States.
The business generates approximately $220M in annual revenue, with a workforce of around 450 employees across multiple FAA/EASA Part 145 facilities. It specializes in engine and component MRO services, supporting a broad customer base across commercial aviation, cargo operators, and defense programs.
Following continued market demand, increased engine shop visit volumes, and a growing backlog across platforms including CFM56, V2500, and PW1000G, the business is entering a significant growth phase. This role has been created to professionalize and scale the commercial function, drive strategic customer partnerships, and deliver sustained top-line and EBITDA growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the global commercial strategy, with full responsibility for revenue growth, pipeline development, and customer retention
- Drive new business acquisition across airlines, lessors, and operators, while expanding existing key accounts
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales and business development team across multiple regions
- Establish and execute pricing strategies aligned to market demand, capacity constraints, and margin targets
- Work closely with operations, supply chain, and technical teams to align commercial commitments with shop capacity and turnaround times
- Build long-term strategic partnerships with OEMs, operators, and leasing companies
- Identify opportunities across engine MRO, component repair, and USM/module programs to drive incremental revenue streams
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to executive leadership, contributing to overall business strategy
- Represent the business at industry events, customer meetings, and senior stakeholder engagements
- Support M&A and partnership activity from a commercial diligence and integration perspective
Candidate Profile
- 12 years of experience within the aerospace & defense sector, with a strong focus on MRO environments
- Proven track record in senior commercial leadership roles (VP Sales / VP BD / Commercial Director level)
- Deep understanding of engine and/or component MRO markets, including shop visit drivers, TAT, and pricing dynamics
- Strong relationships across airlines, lessors, OEMs, and key industry stakeholders
- Demonstrated success delivering significant revenue growth and margin expansion
- Experience managing and scaling global sales teams
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth, capacity, and profitability
- Familiarity with FAA/EASA Part 145 environments and regulatory frameworks
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, execution-focused approach
- Comfortable operating within a fast-paced, PE-backed or growth-oriented environment
