I am currently representing a leading national electrical contractor headquartered in Texas that is experiencing significant, sustained organic growth. The organization has doubled its headcount and tripled revenue over the past year, with a secured multi-year backlog of large-scale projects.
This contractor operates nationally across data centers, EPC, industrial, commercial, multifamily, healthcare, infrastructure, solar, service, and prefabrication markets.
They are known for hands-on executive leadership, strong field culture, and delivering complex, high-value projects.
Due to continued expansion, they are seeking three Electrical Executive Vice Presidents to support the next phase of growth - one based in Austin, one in Houston, and one in a national traveling capacity.
Position Overview
This is a senior operational leadership role with full responsibility for regional or national business performance. The successful candidate will oversee:
- Full P&L accountability
- Large operating budgets, forecasting, and financial performance
- Major project portfolios (complex, large-scale electrical construction)
- Regional or national business unit growth
- Executive-level team leadership and development
- Operational strategy, risk management, and performance execution
This position requires a visible, field-oriented executive who can lead from the front and drive both financial and operational results.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years operating at Vice President level
- Currently employed by an electrical or specialty contractor
- Demonstrated experience managing substantial P&Ls
- Strong budget management and financial oversight experience
- Proven track record delivering large-scale electrical construction projects
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary up $250,000 - $300,000
- Profit-based bonus structure (negotiable)

The traveling role includes company-paid room and board plus $200 per day per diem.
