Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Montessori Guide to join our team, providing care and support to children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate love, patience, and respect for children while fostering their independence. Our program specializes in the care of children aged 3 months to 6 years old. This position is working with infants 3 months - 18 months old.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possess a GED or high school diploma.
- Meet all health requirements including TB tests, immunizations, and physical examinations.
- Clear all background checks as mandated by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Child Development Associate (CDA)
- Montessori Assistant Certification
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
Additional Information:
- Job Starts: 1-2 weeks
- Hours: Monday-Friday,
- Shifts Available: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
