Job Summary

Duties
- Complete opening duties as assigned.
- Understanding of Craft Cocktails
- Understanding of Italian wines.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Toast, Toast Tablet, Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Legibly document orders when point of sale system is inoperative and distribute orders to appropriate manufacturing stations.
- Prepare alcohol items for the bar top and for the servers.
- Engage with guests warmly, taking orders, offering recommendations, utilizing salesmanship techniques, and ensuring an outstanding customer service experience.
- Anticipate Guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all Guests, however busy.
- Interact in courteous and professional manner with Guests, supervisors, and co-workers.
- Interact with people beyond giving and receiving instructions, particularly in resolving Guest complaints
- Open wine/champagne bottles and serve in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Serve all food courses and non-alcoholic beverage items to Guest in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately while balancing registers at the end of each shift.
- Present Guest checks (tablet) and process payments.
- Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies
- Report tips at the end of assigned shift.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-serving in accordance with alcohol policies.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during events like banquets or catering functions.
- Complete bar close out per restaurant standards.
- Complete closing duties as assigned.
- Complete all closing reports as assigned and leave duty after reporting to supervisor.
- Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
- Notify management of any pertinent information related to shift activities
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments and banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, Toast ; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and positively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws; certification may be required depending on jurisdiction.

Qualifications:
1. Must speak Fluent English.
3. Must be 21 years of age or older.
4. Must have at least 2 (two) years of minimum experience in the Food and Beverage or Hospitality industry and fine dinning restaurant.
5. Must have a High School Diploma.
6. Must be available to work at least a minimum of 20 hours a week.
7. Clean background check.
9. Must have two valid forms of government identification that qualify employee to work in the United States. Our company actively participate in E-Verification USCIS program.
10. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Preferred Education and Experience
- 3 years bar-tending in a Craft Cocktail bar/restaurant.

- Physical Demands
