Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Manage multiple drink orders efficiently during busy hours, demonstrating strong time management skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol laws.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service or catering events when required.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast.
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly manner.
- Experience in craft bartending
- Ability to multitask effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy in orders and cash handling.
- Basic math skills for managing tabs, cash transactions, and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixing cocktails.
- Familiarity with the food industry standards related to hospitality, catering, or retail food service environments.
