Key Responsibilities
Depending on experience and position assignment, responsibilities may include:
- Accounts payable, vendor payments, and banking activities
- Account reconciliations and month-end closing
- Fixed assets and Construction in Progress (CIP)
- Inventory, material, sales, and cost accounting
- Journal entries, accruals, and account analysis
- Tax compliance and audit support
- Budgeting, expense analysis, and management reporting
- Maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
- Working with other departments to resolve accounting-related matters
- Supporting process improvements and other Accounting projects
Qualifications
- Accounting, finance, bookkeeping, accounts payable, banking, administrative, or manufacturing experience is a plus
- Degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is a plus, but not required
- Microsoft Excel experience preferred
- SAP, QuickBooks, or other accounting/ERP system experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage responsibilities and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
