We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and desktop assistance to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Manage computer systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware components, peripherals, and software applications such as Microsoft Office suite.
- Configure and support computer networking including LAN, VPN, firewalls, and other security measures.
- Monitor and support IT infrastructure components using tools like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira for ticketing and incident management.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of servers and network devices to ensure system reliability.
- Conduct software troubleshooting, system updates, and security patches to prevent vulnerabilities.
- Support help desk operations by documenting issues accurately and providing timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new IT solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Maintain documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and inventory for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical support roles with a strong understanding of computer management and networking concepts.
- Proficiency in operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office applications, VPNs, firewalls, LAN configurations, and software troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with IT support tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and Help Desk ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and maintenance practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are preferred but not required. Pay: $65,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
