Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance the dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting; previous cashiering experience is advantageous
- Effective communication skills to engage guests positively and work seamlessly with team members
- Experience with serving in high-energy environments such as nightclubs or bustling restaurants is preferred
