Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive
- Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating arrangements
- Coordinate with the dining staff to optimize table turnover and guest flow, maintaining a seamless dining experience
- Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about the restaurant and reservation details
- Assist guests with seating preferences, special requests, and provide information about menu options when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, enhancing overall guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
- Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Knowledge of hospitality standards, guest services, and hotel experience is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries effectively
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
- Familiarity with serving, guest relations, and food service operations enhances your ability to excel in this role
