- A Data Architect with Palantir experience designs and oversees Palantir Foundry data platforms, focusing on ontology modeling, data ingestion (ETL/ELT), pipeline development (PySpark, SQL), and application building (Workshop, Slate) to create scalable, secure AI/analytics solutions, bridging business needs with technical implementation, often involving cloud tech like Azure/AWS and leadership/mentorship.
Responsibilities:
- Design scalable and robust data architectures using Palantir and cloud technologies (Azure/AWS).
- Oversee and guide the implementation of Palantir platforms across diverse business units.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to define architecture standards and practices.
- Develop and enforce governance strategies, ensuring data quality, consistency, and security across platforms.
- Lead strategic decisions on data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics frameworks.
- Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance data processing capabilities.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring architectural compliance and effective knowledge transfer.
