Location: Anywhere in Florida (minimal travel to the Tampa Bay area may be asked)

Employment Type: 6 month Contract-to-hire

Target Conversion Salary: $90K - $110K

About the Role

Our client is looking for a hands-on Cityworks professional to support and enhance our asset management platform. In this role, you’ll partner with business, GIS, and technology teams to ensure Cityworks runs smoothly, scales effectively, and delivers meaningful insights to end users.

What You’ll Do

Application Support & Administration

• Provide day-to-day support for Cityworks AMS, including troubleshooting and incident resolution
• Configure system settings, workflows, roles, and permissions
• Ensure platform stability and a seamless user experience

Enhance & Optimize the Platform

• Build and maintain work orders, service requests, inspections, and asset hierarchies
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into system improvements
• Drive efficiency and data quality through thoughtful configuration

GIS & Data Integration

• Support ArcGIS/Esri integrations and maintain spatial data integrity
• Manage asset relationships and mapping capabilities
• Leverage ETL tools (FME, SSIS) to move and transform data across systems

Field & Mobile Support

• Support Cityworks Mobile and field applications
• Troubleshoot devices and optimize workflows for field teams

Reporting & Insights

• Write optimized SQL queries and stored procedures
• Build dashboards and reports using Power BI, SSRS, or similar tools
• Help stakeholders make data-driven decisions

Automation & Reliability

• Automate processes using Python
• Contribute to testing, documentation, and release management
• Partner with cloud and security teams (AWS) to maintain system health

What You Bring

Required

• Experience supporting Cityworks AMS or similar asset/work management systems
• Strong SQL skills (querying, indexing, performance tuning)
• Working knowledge of ArcGIS/Esri and GIS-driven data
• Strong communication skills across technical and business teams

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS or cloud-hosted applications
• Power BI, SSRS, or similar reporting tools
• Python scripting for automation and data tasks
• ETL/data pipeline experience (FME, SSIS)
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and Git
