Your role will be pivotal in managing the entire loan lifecycle, addressing inquiries, and maintaining efficient communication with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, managing communications from approval through deal closing and throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Oversee the deal flow pipeline in collaboration with Relationship Managers, ensuring timely transaction closures by coordinating with downstream stakeholders.
- Review and coordinate closing documentation and due diligence, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and operational feasibility.
- Assist in executing transactions, addressing issues, and designing solutions to mitigate risks through adequate controls and protections.
- Order necessary documents and prepare supplemental documents as required to complete the transaction process.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure accurate booking, accrual reconciliations, and management of daily cash positions.
- Oversee initial loan funding and ongoing loan activities, ensuring accurate processing and booking with relevant stakeholders.
- Review loan documents meticulously to ensure accuracy and facilitate loan closings when necessary.
- Proactively communicate with lenders to address any issues that may arise before closing.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Confidence in enforcing policies, procedures, and processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, the Bank's core system, and nCino software.
- Strong customer service, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Lending Assistant or Loan Processor.
- Familiarity with Commercial Real Estate and Commercial & Industrial loan documentation.
