We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our aerospace manufacturing operations. This position requires a strategic, hands-on leader with deep industry expertise who can drive performance, profitability, quality, and safety across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to support growth and profitability
- Oversee Planning, Sales, Estimating, Purchasing, and partner closely with Production, Quality, and HR
- Ensure strong manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain performance
- Maintain KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote a safe, compliant work environment and manage regulatory audits
- Lead and mentor management teams; foster teamwork, accountability, and professional development
- Negotiate contracts and support business development efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 10 years of leadership experience in aerospace manufacturing
- Proven success driving operational excellence and profitability
- Strong knowledge of aerospace standards (AS9100, ITAR) and manufacturing processes
- Skilled in KPI development and performance management
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
