What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Manager position at iStaff?

We are partnering with a well-established, mission-driven, faith-based nonprofit organization to hire a Manager of Finance. Responsible for accurate and timely financial project tasks related to supply chain and merchandise, as well as supporting general finance and accounting activities. This role leads financial support for Supply Chain & Logistics and oversees daily operations within the Finance department.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with the supply chain & logistics team and finance leadership to improve processes, reduce costs, and strengthen reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial processes related to supply chain, merchandise, and core financial systems.
  • Manage and mentor 2–4 direct reports while fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Oversee inventory accounting, costing, forecasting, and financial reporting for supply chain activities.
  • Support ongoing NetSuite initiatives (Phase 2 implementation) and ensure accurate system integration.
  • Contribute to budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate the annual budget process and participate in monthly budget review meetings with other departments.
  • Perform monthly account analysis and reconciliations for various accounts – both supply chain and non-supply chain related.
  • Oversee preparation and scheduling for the annual audit and act as the main point of contact for auditors.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
  • 3–5 years of finance & accounting experience
  • Familiarity with supply chain / logistics operations; knowledge of inventory management, costing, and forecasting.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and managing staff.
  • Familiarity with non-profit accounting desired, including funds accounting.
  • Analytical mindset with proven experience in database management and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and process improvement skills with the ability to partner across teams.
  • This position is part of a faith-based workplace within a Christian ministry and includes participation in daily devotions.
  • Experience with NetSuite (highly desirable) or similar ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit or funds accounting is preferred.

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
