Our client is a fast-growing, multi-brand consumer products organization with a strong ecommerce presence across direct-to-consumer platforms and third-party marketplaces. As the business continues to scale, they are seeking a strategic and collaborative Product Owner to join their technology team and support critical ecommerce and systems integrations. This role will work within the engineering team and supports the integration and customization of core ecommerce systems, including PIM, DAM, CMS, marketplace, and EDI platforms.
Hybrid Schedule: Hybrid work option available after the first 90 days of in-office work.
What You’ll Do:
- Own and manage the product roadmap for ecommerce and systems integrations, aligning business priorities with technical execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, maintaining communication with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Lead requirements discovery and documentation, translating business needs into clear technical requirements.
- Develop and refine user stories and acceptance criteria, and manage epics through the project lifecycle.
- Drive initiatives through the full lifecycle, from discovery and development through testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Work with engineering and QA teams to prioritize workloads, overseeing the product backlog in alignment with product priorities.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies while driving cross-functional collaboration across planning and release cycles.
- Define project timelines and milestones, identifying and escalating risks that could impact delivery.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, including experience in ecommerce and SaaS platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, IT, or a related discipline.
- Experience integrating and customizing third-party platforms that support ecommerce, product content, and marketplace operations.
- Exposure to ecommerce-related tools, including PIM, DAM, marketplace platforms, and EDI systems (e.g., Salsify, Acquia, Shopify, or similar).
- Project management skills and working knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks and project management tools (Jira, Confluence preferred).
- Ability to partner with both technical and non-technical teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
