Job Summary: As a Quality Control Inspector (Manufacturing) at IEF, you will be responsible inspecting manufactured parts and materials to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and safety requirements. This role involves performing visual and dimensional inspections, documenting inspection results, identifying defects or nonconformances, and working closely with production teams to maintain consistent product quality in a manufacturing environment. The position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to follow inspection procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and check a large variety of work performed daily throughout the Curtainwall assembly facility at different workstations to verify work is performed as per quality standards and matches the assembly information provided
• Collaborate with production department to make sure the quality standards are clearly understood by all production workers.
• Regularly report product quality information and feedback to management team and production team for company quality improvement
• Ensuring that the visual appearance meets our standards of quality
• Perform in line material testing to make sure the sealant dispensing equipment is calibrated correctly
• Communication being key in reviewing errors, finding solutions, and maintaining our dedication to quality
• Maintain quality records and report accurate and complete information in daily checklists
• Use and maintain testing equipment to ensure a quality product

Skills and Experience

• Strong ability to read and understand assembly drawings and assembly manuals.
• Strong ability to use measuring equipment and tools.
• Assembly & Testing experience, data collection, and analysis in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• QC decision making based on data collection and analysis preferred. iPad user skills preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Being able to speak and understand Spanish would be helpful.
• Background in Glazing, Carpentry, or CW system assembly preferred.
• QA/QC Training preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma
• 2 years of Quality Control experience preferred but not required
• Construction/ Manufacturing background is a plus!
• Valid Drivers License required
• Must be able to stand for an extended period of time
• Ability to work in an environment with a high noise level

Hourly range: $18 - $30
Location: Calverton, New York [Onsite]

Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00am – 3:30pm

ADA Requirements: The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in environments that may involve bending, climbing, or exposure to heat and sparks. Proper PPE will be provided to ensure safety.
