Job Summary: As a Material Handler/ Inventory Control Clerk at IEF, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, tracking, and distributing materials to support manufacturing operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy, proper material handling, and timely movement of materials throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (identify, pick, unload, label, store)
- Record and properly distribute packing slips and other documents for received material.
- Perform inventory control and maintain high quality standards
- Maintain optimal space utilization
- Keep work are and storage locations clean and organized
- Complete inventory diary logs
- Complete material counts periodically
- Prepare reports per manager request
- Report discrepancies
- Operate warehouse vehicles
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and record keeping
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment
- Proficient in inventory software, databases and systems
- Familiar with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to lift heavy objects up to 75lbs
- Forklift experience
- High school/GED
Hourly Range: $18 -$30
Location: Calverton, New York [Onsite]
Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00am – 3:30pm

ADA Requirements: The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in environments that may involve bending, climbing, or exposure to heat and sparks. Proper PPE will be provided to ensure safety.
