Quality Control Inspector - Pharmaceutical Printing Company

Pharmaceutical Printing Company seeking QC Inspector

Day Shift

Work Shift M-F 7:30am - 3:30pm

Monitor all quality requirements as outlined by company procedure.

• Effectively observe and judge that quality levels are maintained and notify Management if quality levels are not achieved.
• Perform line clearance checks.
• Perform labels and insert conformation checks at start up as well as during packaging runs.
• Ensure product (Insert/Outsert) produced meets the quality requirements as defined by Customer Specifications
• Observe and adhere to all safety guidelines
• Perform scheduled checks on products during the packaging process, including but not limited to: label color checks, barcode checks, product count, product name, proper packaging etc.
• Pull product (Insert/Outsert)samples for Quality Control testing and documentation on specific checklist
• Process and control the destruction of product overage.
• Perform document reconciliation to close out batch records on as needed basis.
• Perform video and electronic inspection review of manufactured products (Insert/Outsert).

Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Physical Requirements - ability to bend, twist, reach, lift materials up to 35 lbs and stand for an extended period of time
• Must have good vision, aided by glasses if necessary
• Experience in pharmaceutical environment preferred
• In-depth knowledge of GMPs, FDA, CFR requirements, and general safety
• Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
