Responsibilities
- Supervise children in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment during morning hours.
- Monitor children’s behavior, applying positive behavior management techniques to encourage cooperation and respect.
- Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's needs, or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area to ensure a hygienic environment conducive to childhood development.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles.
- Ability to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies.
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities or special needs is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with children, parents, and team members.
