What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Floor Lead position at ISE LABS INC AND SUBSIDIARY?
Shift 1, Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10pm-6:30am
Shift 1, Swing Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 2pm-10:30pm
Summary:
Operates ATE to test customers’ parts according to daily production schedule. Notifies Maintenance personnel when units per hour (UPH) is not met or any issues arises.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Operates test equipment: Pick and place handlers, loading test programs on testers, scanner equipment, hand/bench test equipment, wafer sort probers, etc.
- Accurately enter binning and yield data into the Test Database by reviewing physical unit counts and interpreting test summary reports to ensure alignment with test results.
- Follows proper ESD and test procedures.
- Follows travelers, test specifications, and instructions from customers and production control coordinators; verifies correct test program is loaded and executed to ensure accurate test results and binning.
- Obtains specified test hardware from Hardware Control Room such as: probe card, test load board, handler change kit etc.
- Follows test operating instructions
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area according to 5S standards
- Listens for machine alarm (due to jamming, loading assist, unloading assist, end lot, temperature unstable error, etc.) and notifies Test floor supervisor or Maintenance Supervisor as soon as possible and performs basic level troubleshooting and clearance.
- Informs shift supervisor when problem/s occur during testing.
- Documents test operation results per shop order instructions and in accordance with ISO guidelines.
- Cleans and maintains test equipment as appropriate
- Ensure that setup duration is within the operation setup specs, and report to Supervisor if issues or problems arise
- Inform Maintenance personnel and Lead of any jamming of testers and performs basic level troubleshooting and clearance
- Reviews and follows production schedule and priorities, or as directed by Maintenance (Shift) Supervisor, or Test Floor Manager
- Sets up some test equipment: handlers, wafer sort probers, Thermo-stream, Silicon-Thermal, scanner equipment, and/or hand/bench test equipment according to customer specifications.
- Works closely with Engineering regarding test flow and process improvements
- Provide technical support to operators and engineers as needed
- Monitors and delegates meals and rest periods to accommodate the shift
- Assigns operators to test stations at the start and throughout the shift, and communicates assignments through pass down meetings or written documentation
- Enters and updates lot information in TFS system
- Checks Power BI to ensure lots are progressing according to the ship date
- Corrects issues with traveler updates and miscounts.
- Documents pass downs and production schedules, emails the information to management and applicable departments.
- Support with investigation and closure of Corrective Action Reports
- Provide training to operators as new work instructions and Process Alerts are released to the Test Floor
- Understands the flow of materials within the work environment.
- Serves as the main point of contact on the production floor and holds the lead phone for real-time communication and issue escalation.
- Verifies that operators are running the correct test programs to ensure compliance with specifications and avoid misprocessing.
- Be able to clear/fix creating errors or jams on handler/prober

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
- Requires knowledge of: modern business English (read, analyze, and interpret general business and professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations), spelling and arithmetic; the operations of common office machines and equipment.
- Requires ability to write reports, business correspondence.
- Requires ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, vendors, and customers.
Computer Skills:
- Will be trained in ISE WIP database system.
- Some knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Some knowledge of Unix/Linux command.

- Occasional lifting and/or moving of parts 30 to 50lbs.
