District 318 Administrative Professionals
Class I, 7.5 hours per day, hourly, 12-month employee
Salary range: $24.19 - $27.58 per hour*
Job Summary
The Human Resources Assistant will plan, organize, and assist employees, retirees, and the human resources department within the established policies, goals, and philosophies of the district. The position will act in a way as to provide professional administrative services to staff, coworkers, and the community in an efficient, courteous, and timely manner so the overall district objectives may be achieved. The position will look for and implement ways to maintain and improve efficiencies within our processes and systems to assure the smooth and efficient operation of the human resources department.
Qualifications
Education required
High School diploma or equivalent
Post secondary courses or equivalent experience in secretarial, business, human resources or office management
Experience Required
Advanced computer experience
3-5 years of previous administrative support experience
2 years working in a human resource department

- Employees new to the district will start at $24.19 or $24.86 depending on qualifications and experience.
