As a Tractor Trailer Driver, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of petroleum products to commercial and retail sites. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our customers in a safety focused environment. Your success will depend on your ability to adhere to daily routes, load the fuel truck, and complete pre-and post-trip inspections while maintaining all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and procedures.

- Deliver Irving Oil Products to various locations within the required geographical locations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is performing to the required standards
- Review and plan daily routes while collaborating with our Dispatch team to improve the efficiency of routes
- Safely load and unload products from storage facilities while adhering to all safety policies and procedures
- Continuously evaluate and make safety decisions on trucks, conditions, products, sites, deliveries, leaks, and any other situations in which the driver feels there may be a safety issue. Report all hazards or unsafe situations that cannot be corrected on their own to the Manager
- Complete daily shift reports and all required paperwork with accurate information
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle – inside & outside
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Basic mathematical skills
- Safety-focused with strong technical skills
- Ability to work 12-hour schedules
- A valid CDL Class A Driver’s License with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Minimum 2 years Commercial Transportation experience
- Previous experience with liquid loads is considered an asset
