Interim Emergency Department Director Opportunity:
- Full-time, temp to perm opportunity
- 13-week initial duration; seeking individuals who are looking to go temporary to permanent
- The Interim Emergency Department Director manages daily unit operations, emergency patient throughput, triage efficiency, and interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians and nursing staff
- Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, patient safety protocols, and quality improvement benchmarks
- Interim Emergency Department Director oversees annual budgets, labor management, staffing ratios, supply expenses, and productivity goals
- Handles recruitment, performance evaluations, staff coaching, retention strategies, and clinical training for nurses and support teams
Interim Emergency Department Director Qualifications:
- BSN required; MSN preferred
- Active Registered Nurse licensure in New Mexico or compact state
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive leadership or unit management experience in an emergency department or acute care setting
