Asset Maintenance Tech - Equipment Maintenance Technician

Are you a mechanically inclined pro with experience maintaining heavy equipment? Do you enjoy solving hands-on technical problems and mentoring others? If so, we’re looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician (Level II) to keep our fleet running strong at our La Marque branch.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform advanced repairs on diesel- and gas-powered rental equipment.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using proper tools and testing.
- Conduct inspections and ensure all equipment is rental-ready.
- Maintain accurate work orders, logs, and part usage records.
- Operate a forklift to load/unload and move equipment.
- Oversee inventory control, including cycle counts and restock.
- Mentor junior technicians in safety and repair procedures.
- Occasionally deliver or pick up equipment and berms from job sites.
- Lead safety and efficiency improvements on the shop floor.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3–5 years of equipment maintenance or mechanical repair experience (rental/pump industry preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
- Welding experience required.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
- High School Diploma or GED.
