Position Summary

IRISS, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Set-Up & Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brake equipment used to bend and form sheet metal components. The operator will select or enter appropriate machine settings, complete machine set-ups, make adjustments as needed, and produce high-quality parts according to engineering drawings, work orders, specifications, and established quality standards.

Responsibilities

· Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, technical drawings, and specifications.

· Select and load the appropriate sheet metal materials for production.

· Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment to achieve required bend angles, dimensions, and tolerances.

· Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings, programs, or parameters based on production requirements.

· Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and operating correctly before and during production.

· Perform quality inspections and measurements to verify finished parts meet required specifications.

· Identify defects, dimensional issues, or production problems and make appropriate machine or process adjustments.

· Safely use applicable hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and production equipment.

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

· Follow established work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.

· Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

· Work independently while contributing to a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

· Cross-train in other manufacturing processes as needed.

Qualifications

· Previous CNC press brake set-up and operating experience is required.

· Previous sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

· Knowledge of hand and power tools.

· Ability to use measuring tools and verify dimensions accurately.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

· Ability to follow instructions and established manufacturing processes.

· Strong commitment to workplace safety.

· Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn and cross-train.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· High school diploma or equivalent.

Weekend Shift (DAY) is from Friday to Sunday, 630am - 630pm.

Weekend Shift (NIGHT) is from Friday to Sunday, 630pm - 630am.

Pay: $23.00 - $24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
