Human Resources Specialist

Location: IRISS Headquarters, Bradenton, FL

Reports to: Global HR Director

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented HR Specialist to support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration. This role offers an opportunity to grow your HR career while helping deliver a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with job postings, candidate sourcing, resume screening, initial interviews, and interview scheduling.
• Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Support new hire onboarding, including preparing offer letters and coordinating orientation.
• Respond to employee inquiries and help maintain positive employee relations.
• Maintain accurate employee records and process HR transactions in Paychex.
• Prepare and process HR documents, including employment contracts and performance reviews.
• Support compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
• Track and report on employee training and development activities.
• Maintain confidentiality in all HR matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of HR principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Paychex, including maintaining employee records and processing HR transactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
