Job Description:
- Seeking a skilled IT Production Operations Specialist with a strong understanding of ITSM processes—Incident, Problem, and Change Management. The candidate should have experience leading outage calls, utilizing tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki during triage to isolate issues and analyze metrics such as total FCI.
- Responsible for adhering to Change Review processes, preparing teams for operational readiness by setting up monitoring and dashboards, and understanding SRE concepts like SLI/SLO and error budgets. Proficient in ServiceNow and Jira for ticket management.
- Must demonstrate expertise in Java Spring Boot web services, RESTful and SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, with basic UNIX skills and familiarity with Kubernetes, DevOps, and scripting languages (Python, Shell). Knowledge of UI technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and the ability to interpret code for analysis are required.
- Experience analyzing infrastructure components such as Apache/Tomcat, IIS, Kubernetes clusters, load balancers, and monitoring server metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network latency). SQL proficiency, including complex query writing, optimization, index management, stored procedures, and DB2 knowledge, is essential.
