Description:
- As a Lead Analyst – EDI & API Integrations, you will lead end-to-end integration initiatives for Carrier and Customer onboarding within our Brokerage business.
- This role blends deep expertise in EDI transactions with modern API-based integrations, ensuring scalable and future-ready data exchange across systems and partners.
- You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, customers, carriers, and IT teams to design, implement, and optimize both EDI and API solutions, while also mentoring team members and driving integration best practices.
Experience Required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in EDI, system integrations, and API-based solutions
- Proven experience leading integration initiatives and working with cross-functional teams
API Integration & Modernization
- Design and support RESTful and SOAP APIs, enabling seamless system-to-system communication
- Implement API standards including authentication (OAuth, JWT), error handling, versioning, and monitoring
- Integrate APIs with backend TMS and enterprise systems to support real-time data exchange
- Identify opportunities to replace or augment legacy EDI workflows with API-driven solutions
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in:
- EDI onboarding and transaction processing
- API integration (REST/SOAP services)
- Integration platforms, application support, or project delivery
- Strong knowledge of:
- EDI standards (X12, XML, Flat Files)
- API formats (JSON, XML)
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and ability to handle multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry
- 5 years of client-facing integration experience
- Experience defining and executing integration strategies (EDI API hybrid models)
- Familiarity with TMS systems and middleware/integration platforms
- Ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
