As Operations Manager, you will lead and optimize production and equipment maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. You will manage multi-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and play a key role in delivering site performance targets. Strong leadership, operational expertise, and data-driven decision-making are essential to success in this role.

The role
As Operations Manager, you will lead and optimize production and equipment maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. You will manage multi-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and play a key role in delivering site performance targets. Strong leadership, operational expertise, and data-driven decision-making are essential to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion safety across the plant, exceeding company policies and legal requirements
- Lead daily production and maintenance operations in line with business objectives
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate production metrics and KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and preventive maintenance programs
- Ensure accurate, timely production reporting within the ERP system (IFS)
- Identify and execute corrective actions to reduce downtime, costs, and schedule deviations
- Oversee equipment and tooling maintenance to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Implement the company Quality Policy with a focus on customer satisfaction and problem prevention
- Develop, train, and motivate teams; ensure completion of all required training
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities with a focus on labor and direct costs
- Act as a visible champion of company values and a proactive member of the site leadership team
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing or operations management
- Strong background in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proven experience across production, maintenance, quality, and technical processes
- Technically capable of troubleshooting mechanical issues with molds and machinery
- Knowledge of production scheduling, facility operations, and automated equipment (machines, conveyors, robotics)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred
- PMP or Project Management certification is an advantage
