The role
As the Plant Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility. You’ll serve as a trusted business partner to plant leadership—providing insight, structure, and financial discipline that supports smart decisions and continuous improvement.
This role goes beyond reporting the numbers. You will help shape strategy, strengthen financial processes, and build a culture of accountability across the plant. The role

What You’ll Do
- Own all financial activities for the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Conduct variance analysis, clearly explaining results and risks to non-financial stakeholders
- Partner with plant management to develop financial strategies aligned with business objectives
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to protect company assets
- Prepare and present financial results to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Lead plant-level audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, efficiency improvements, and margin enhancement
- Support and promote continuous improvement initiatives across operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing finance; plastics experience strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly and confidently to diverse audiences
- Proven leadership and influence skills, with a hands-on, collaborative mindset
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
