Job Responsibilities
Essential job duties and responsibilities include the following; however, other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the business.
- Developing and maintaining company inspection reports.
- Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
- Ensuring goods and products comply with company standards as well as Federal and State law.
- Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
- Reporting quality anomalies to the supervisor.
- Collecting test data and drafting quality reports.
- Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
- Ensuring production is not hindered by quality testing procedures.
- Test quality of materials or finished products.
- Calibrate scientific or technical equipment.
- Maintain laboratory or technical equipment.
- Evaluate quality of materials or products.
- Inspect areas for compliance with sanitation standards.
- Record research or operational data.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skill Requirements & Certifications:
- Ability to lift boxes and fill forms.
- Ability to read, speak and write in English.
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) plant safety and OSHA requirements.
- Attention to detail, proactiveness, and cooperation with team members.
Additional Information:
- Exposure to food allergens, wheat, nuts, coconut, soy products.
- May work additional overtime.
Salary:
$19.00 per hour plus shift differential if applicable. May need to work overtime as business requires.
