ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Maintain and promote safety in all aspects of the facility in Compounding Department.
· Maintain and uphold all quality procedures and programs relating to Compounding operations, ensuring all associates are following documented process and procedures.
· Maximize productivity and efficiency at all times.
· Organize the workforce and set staffing levels at an appropriate standard without jeopardizing safety, quality, or productivity.
· Accurate management and reporting of timekeeping, production, scrap/yields, and other required documentation.
· Effectively communicate with subordinates, peers, and the senior leadership team as well as with various other departments and plants.
· Promote teamwork by demonstrating a spirit of collaboration and cooperation on projects with other plants and departments striving to meet project objectives.
· Maintain and promote strong work ethics and uphold all company policies and procedures.
· Motivate team through encouragement and acting as a positive role model for all plant employees.
· Mentor, train, coach and develop staff so that they can be ready to take on more responsibility as the company continues to grow.
· Support customer needs by ensuring correct batch formulas and correct mixing procedure and instructions.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
· Prior experience (2-4 years) supervising production employees in a manufacturing environment.
· Requires strong organizational and time-management skills with good attention to detail and the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects.
· Excellent multi-tasking skills along with ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining composure and respect for everyone.
· Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point), experience with Google Suite, and inventory/manufacturing software programs.
· Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information.
· Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to raw materials, powders, liquids, noise, and varying temperatures.
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
· Ability to wear required PPE (hairnets, beard nets, gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, respirators when required).
· Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as business needs require.
· Ability to respond to production issues, quality concerns, and safety incidents in real time. Willingness to participate in audits, inspections, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
· Must be able to work cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, R&D, and Production teams.
· Must comply with all GMP, FDA, OSHA, and company safety requirements.
· Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds regularly; up to 100 pounds occasionally
