Richland County Abstract, a division of Title Solutions Group, is looking for a detail-driven Settlement Officer to coordinate, process, and disburse escrow files across the markets we serve. You’ll be partnering with lenders, processors, and clients to deliver accurate, on-time settlements and an exceptional experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Support business development alongside Marketing and stay current on settlement technology; recommend upgrades.
• Follow ITIC settlement/accounting guidelines and communicate professionally with clients and teammates.
• Coordinate all aspects of closings: prepare and process loan packages, ensure file readiness, and attend closings as needed.
• Create/edit settlement statements; print checks and manage disbursements; complete all post-closing functions.
• Perform daily reconciliation reviews; monthly 1099 exception and A/R cleanups; monitor and follow up on aging escrow files.
• Answer escrow customer questions and drive issue resolution with urgency and care.
• Communicate regularly with the Agency Manager on workload, customer issues, and any production obstacles; jump into special projects.
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent training/experience).
• 2 years in real estate loan closings and settlement operations
• Strong analytical skills to review real estate transaction documents.
• Organized, deadline-driven, and steady under pressure; excellent written and verbal communication.
