What You’ll Do:
As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for:
Leadership & Staff Management
• Direct supervision of front desk staff, medical assistants, and clinical support team
• Hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
• Creating a positive and accountable team culture
Clinic Operations
• Oversee day-to-day office functions including scheduling, patient intake, insurance verification, and workflow optimization
• Implement and maintain clinic protocols, SOPs, and compliance with HIPAA/OSHA regulations
• Ensure seamless coordination of clinical and administrative processes across departments
Provider & Patient Support
• Support physicians and clinical team to maximize productivity and ensure timely patient care
• Address patient concerns with professionalism and empathy, aiming to enhance satisfaction and retention
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as wait times, appointment flow, and follow-up compliance
Revenue Cycle & Financial Oversight
• Collaborate with billing/coding teams for claims processing, insurance follow-ups, and A/R management
• Monitor revenue and operational metrics, assist in budgeting, payroll coordination, and reporting
• Ensure accurate charge capture, prior authorizations, and denial resolution workflows
Practice Development & Compliance
• Assist with marketing strategies, patient outreach, and referral relationship development
• Stay up to date on healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and practice management trends
• Participate in strategic planning and future expansion initiatives

Qualifications:
Required:
• 3 years of experience in medical office or practice management (preferably in a specialty such as pain management, neurology, orthopedics, or internal medicine)
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience
• In-depth knowledge of EHR systems (ECW preferred), medical billing cycles, and healthcare operations
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with credentialing, authorizations, and compliance standards
• Ability to manage stress and resolve conflicts with a calm, proactive approach
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience working in a private practice or physician-owned setting
• Knowledge of practice marketing, quality initiatives, and outpatient procedure coordination
