Job Summary

This is 1:30PM - 10PM Shift Position
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related components. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines
- Conduct thorough inspections of diesel engines to identify any potential problems or areas of concern
- Use automotive diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and identify issues with diesel engines
- Repair or replace faulty components in diesel engines, such as fuel injectors, pistons, or valves
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed to complete repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with diesel engines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience as a Diesel Technician or in a similar role preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of diesel engine systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools and automotive diagnostic equipment
- Familiarity with tractor-trailers or other large industrial equipment is a plus
- Ability to solder electrical connections is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
