Interstate Nationalease is currently looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to work in our Birmingham, AL location. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic with the ability to perform truck repair and maintenance work at a Class B level and work closely with the INL team to meet company goals and expectations.

The Diesel Mechanic will be required to:
- Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on trucks and service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation, and oil changes
- Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs
- Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles
- Familiar with diagnostic software
The ideal Diesel Mechanic will have:
- 2 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Current DOT Medical Card a plus!
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- ASE Diesel Certification a plus!
- CDL License a Plus!'

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
