We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Armed Security Officer to join our team. Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all personnel and property
- Monitor surveillance cameras and CCTV systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizing entry
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients and visitors with inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to resolve security issues
- Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents, documenting all findings
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including incident reports and shift logs
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Valid armed security officer certificate/license
- Proven experience in surveillance and CCTV operations
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with militarized security protocols and procedures
- First aid, CPR, and conflict management training preferred
- Previous experience in law enforcement or military is a plus
