Responsibilities

- Control access points by verifying identities and issuing visitor passes in accordance with established procedures
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity and identify potential security threats
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations or conflicts, utilizing appropriate protocols
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping and reporting purposes
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to ensure swift resolution of issues
- Enforce facility policies related to safety, conduct, and loss prevention with professionalism and tact
- Perform routine inspections of security equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and fencing to ensure operational readiness
Requirements
- Proven ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts in various environments
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), conflict management techniques, and loss prevention strategies
- Basic first aid certification and CPR training to respond effectively in medical emergencies
- Experience or background in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while making sound decisions quickly
- Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations (if applicable)
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
