Position Overview
International Motors is currently seeking an experienced Senior IT Risk & Controls Analyst-GRC to join our Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) team.
The GRC team is responsible for Internal Controls, Data Privacy, Corporate Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, & Business Continuity. The position will report to the Governance, Risk, & Compliance IT Senior Manager.
This role is for a self-starter that will problem-solve and perform risk-based testing of IT internal controls in the areas of Financial Reporting, Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, and Operational Technology that supports our financial and operational business processes. In addition, this position may participate in the execution of IT risk assessments, controls assessments, data privacy and protection assessments or other regulatory, operational, and compliance initiatives that support a strong internal control environment.
This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Perform annual IT control testing and detailed reviews.
- Evaluate information systems and controls including but not limited to applications, business processes, change management procedures, access and security, networks, and computer and data center operations.
- Conduct and support GRC projects or risk assessments for new technologies and strategic initiatives, identifying and prioritizing key IT risks.
- Advise stakeholders on control design, testing strategies, and remediation plans aligned with policies, standards and best practices.
- Prepare clear, actionable reports of assessments or control findings tailored to both IT and business stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the GRC function, including automation, process optimization and continuous monitoring solutions.
- Communicate risks using frameworks and regulatory requirements to gain stakeholder buy-in and drive remediation of gaps.
- Mentor junior staff, foster technical growth, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving.
- Support team members in achieving team-based strategic goals.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 years of Information Systems Audit or Business Systems experience
OR
- Master’s degree
- At least 1 year of Information Systems Audit or Business Systems experience
OR
- At least 5 years of Information Systems Audit or Business Systems experience
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills
- Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (e.g., access, change management, operations, data center backup, penetration testing), and application controls, with hands-on testing experience.
- Familiar with NIST cybersecurity and privacy standards; some knowledge of US state and global privacy laws is a plus.
- Skilled in identifying control weaknesses, assessing control effectiveness, and connecting findings to business impact.
- Able to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrates a track record of driving improvements in the workplace.
- Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in O365 Suite of apps; familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques.
- CISA or other relevant certifications are preferred.
- Working knowledge of cloud environments and infrastructure is a plus (Azure, AWS, Oracle etc.)
- Lnowledge of SAP ERP system is a plus
- Prior experience in manufacturing is a plus
