We are looking for a Product Manager – VCT EE Integration & Test within VCF Smart Vehicle Functions, who wants to join the Group R&D transformation journey. The role offers flexibility to be based in Sweden, Germany, or the USA.
Role Summary
As our current Product Manager transitions into a new role, we are looking for a successor who will continue driving transformation and product excellence in SW solutions. This is a global leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in complex environments, values cross-border collaboration, and wants to shape future engineering capabilities within TRATON Group R&D.
The role sits within the Vehicle Interaction domain and operates in a global setup across Sweden, Germany, and the USA. You will work closely with key stakeholders and leadership, reporting to the Domain Head for Vehicle Interaction.
Job Responsibilities
As Product Manager for VCT EE Integration & Test, you are accountable for ensuring that the right capabilities are integrated and tested at the right time, with a strong focus on business value, usability, and long-term strategy.
You will:
- Define and evolve product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Drive prioritization in complex and fast-changing environments
- Lead transformation and change initiatives across global teams
- Create alignment between business needs, architecture, and delivery
- Enable collaboration across flows, brands, sites, and organizational boundaries
- Drive stakeholder engagement and decision-making
- Follow up on outcomes, value realization, and adoption
- Contribute to improving product development processes
- Work with all brand EE architectures, both future and legacy
- Drive cross-functional integration and value realization
You will lead through influence rather than formal authority and collaborate closely with architects, program and project leads, and management across the organization.

You likely have:
- Experience as a Product Manager within a VCT or similar setup, or senior line management experience with a strong passion for product leadership
- Experience in software development and testing

- Strong stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience driving organizational change and transformation
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in an international environment

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and at least 9 years of product design/development and/or computer science experience
- At least 2 years of lead experience

- Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and at least 5 years of product design/development and/or computer science experience
- At least 2 years of lead experience
OR
- PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and at least 3 years of product design/development and/or computer science experience
- At least 2 years of lead experience
