ST2 - Painter

Position Overview

This position is open for Contractor Conversions only. 

Responsibilities

• Prepare paint area appropriately to result in good paint application that meets paint specification criteria
• Paint components using appropriate spray techniques and adjust spray equipment as appropriate
• Prepare the bus to mask the areas that will be painted
• Mix paints and work with solvents
• Identify paint defects and root cause
• Maintain basic safety precautions when handling paints/solvents

Minimum Requirements

• Prior automotive painting experience

Additional Requirements

• Ability to repair and paint defects
• Ability to perform painting in hard to reach and awkward positions
• Ability to perform task in full gear of painter’s PPE, including respirator
• Ability to walk/stand up to 10 hours per day

Desired Skills

• Experience with automotive body repairs
• At least 1 year of automotive hands on experience with paint
• Good mechanical aptitude
