What are the responsibilities and job description for the ST2 - Painter position at International Motors, LLC?
Position Overview
This position is open for Contractor Conversions only.
Responsibilities
- Prepare paint area appropriately to result in good paint application that meets paint specification criteria
- Paint components using appropriate spray techniques and adjust spray equipment as appropriate
- Prepare the bus to mask the areas that will be painted
- Mix paints and work with solvents
- Identify paint defects and root cause
- Maintain basic safety precautions when handling paints/solvents
Minimum Requirements
- Prior automotive painting experience
Additional Requirements
- Ability to repair and paint defects
- Ability to perform painting in hard to reach and awkward positions
- Ability to perform task in full gear of painter’s PPE, including respirator
- Ability to walk/stand up to 10 hours per day
Desired Skills
- Experience with automotive body repairs
- At least 1 year of automotive hands on experience with paint
- Good mechanical aptitude
