Position Overview
As a Procurement Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our core accounting operations, reporting directly to the General Accounting Manager. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to both day-to-day financial tasks and key month-end close activities within our fast-paced Accounting Center.
You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including our strategic partners, to help ensure accurate reporting and strong financial controls. Responsibilities
- Support the Procurement Organization, with a primary focus on month-end close activities
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries and perform related account reconciliations
- Analyze material price variances from manufacturing locations and identify key drivers
- Monitor standard material cost data using Microsoft Excel and Access
- Prepare monthly reports related to supplier payments and procurement performance
- Document and/or review accounting procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from internal stakeholders
- Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounting Center
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least 1 year of accounting experience
OR
- Bachelor’s degree and CPA
- At least 1 year of accounting experience
OR
- Master’s degree in Accounting
OR
- Master’s degree and CPA
