As part of the Product Structure Team this position will lead in the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of product structure within the Bill of Material (BOM) management systems for new and existing engineering projects/programs. It’s an exciting time to join the Product Structure Team, as we work to transition into the Traton Modular System (TMS).
This position will play a critical role in shaping the development of new processes required to describe and configure new products related to the TMS portfolio, while still maintaining legacy products. Ensures Provides leadership/mentoring to other Technical Analysts and program team. Searches beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems. Develops, plans and delivers results to meet design requirements. Applies best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Attend and actively participate in cross-functional program meetings. May design, maintain, and execute the bill of material system, support system integrity, and/or participate in process improvement or cost saving initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Works in cooperation with engineering to identify, assimilate, analyze and finalize bills of material configurations and compatibilities to support manufacturing
- Directly interacts with TRATON partners in the enablement of collaboration processes, tools and methods in direct support of the Traton Modular System (TMS)
- Develops and implements Product Structure plans for Engineering Bill of Materials based on program/project requirements
- Creation of new product structure strategies required to support modularization and transformation of current product structure
- Analyzes and completes incoming product change requests
- Facilitates cross-functional collaboration throughout various change management phases
- Strong capacity to learn new concepts and effectively teach or mentor others
- Excellent communication and collaborative problem-solving skills
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of data analysis experience
OR
- Master's degree and no experience
OR
- At least 3 years of data analysis experience
